Terms of service
Revision of 2026-07-21
1. Subject
takemypay (the "Service") provides the technical means to accept payments from your customers, account for them on an internal balance, and withdraw funds to details you nominate. By registering and using the Service's programming interface you accept these terms.
The Service is a technical intermediary. It is not a party to the transaction between you and your customer and assumes no obligation arising from that transaction.
2. Account and access
You sign in with a one-time link sent to the email address you provided. Access to the account is equivalent to access to that mailbox — keeping it secure is your responsibility.
Interface access keys are shown once at creation and stored by us only as an irreversible hash. You are responsible for keeping a key safe and for everything done with it. A key that may have been exposed should be revoked in the dashboard without delay.
A new account runs in test mode. Accepting real payments is enabled once the corresponding request has been reviewed; the Service may decline it without stating a reason.
3. Settlement
The Service's fee, the basis on which receipts are converted into the balance currency, the minimum payout amount and the fee withheld on payout are set by the tariffs published on the Service's website: terms and pricing. Tariffs may change; the current revision is always available at that link.
The conversion rate is fixed at the moment a payment is confirmed and not revisited.
Payouts are made once the applicable threshold is reached, to the details you set in the dashboard, and are processed in the ordinary course. The Service does not guarantee a specific settlement time and is not liable for delays outside its control. The details are supplied by you; funds sent to incorrectly stated details cannot be recovered.
4. Your obligations
- Do not use the Service for activity prohibited by applicable law.
- Describe the goods and services you charge for accurately, and honour your obligations to customers.
- Meet any tax and other public-law obligations arising from receiving funds.
- Receive and correctly process the Service's operational notifications, including verifying their authenticity.
- Provide, on the Service's request, the information needed to review the nature of your transactions.
5. Restrictions and suspension
The Service may suspend payment acceptance and payouts on an account where there are indications of bad-faith conduct, where customer disputes rise materially, or where this is required by law or by the Service's obligations to third parties.
Claims concerning goods and services are resolved directly between you and your customer.
6. Liability
The Service is provided "as is". We make reasonable efforts to keep it available but do not guarantee uninterrupted operation, which depends in part on circumstances outside our control. The Service's liability is limited to the fees withheld on the transactions the claim relates to.
7. Termination
You may stop using the Service at any time. Any remaining balance is paid out on the usual terms once the payout threshold is met. The Service may terminate the relationship by notifying you at the email address on the account.
8. Changes
These terms may change. The current revision is always published on this page with the date shown above. Continuing to use the Service after a new revision is published constitutes acceptance of it.
